PROGRAM OVERVIEW AND HIGHLIGHTS

The International Graduate Program of Civil Engineering, Master and Doctoral program, concentrates on both theoretical and practical aspects of traditional civil engineering with new technologies. There are six divisions included in this program:

  • Construction Engineering  and Management

  • Geotechnical Engineering

  • Hydraulic and Ocean Engineering

  • Structural Engineering

  • Surveying  Engineering

  • Information Technology

  • February: Notification of Fall admission (early action)

  • May: Notification of Fall admission (regular  action)

  • August 10: Application opens for applicants for Spring semester 

  • September 30: Deadline for Spring semester

  • November: Notification of Spring admission.

SCHOLARSHIPS

  • 1.NCTU International Scholarship

  • Master student: Up to NT$16K (US$533)  and/or tuition waiver

  • PhD student: Up to NT$24K (US$800)  and/or tuition waiver

  • 2.NCTU Elite PhD Scholarship

  • PhD student: Up to NT$30K (US$1K) plus tuition and dormitory fee waiver

  • 3.Taiwan Scholarship (offered by Taiwan Government)

  • Master/PhD student:Up to NT$30K (US$1,000)
